For this, I plan to create a face using a mold and paint the face as if it's one of Frida's paintings. I plan to add ceramic flowers to represent all the flowers she had in her paintings. When it's done, I plan to glaze this piece with lots of color and depth as shown in the artwork of her.

Reflection
Frida Kahlo was a revolutionary Mexican painter celebrated for her vivid, often stark, self-portraits that explored identity, pain, and Mexican culture, using a unique blend of realism and symbolism rooted in her turbulent life, including severe injuries from a bus accident. Her artwork is known for its raw emotional honesty, incorporating symbolic animals, plants, and vibrant colors to convey her physical and psychological reality, making her a feminist and cultural icon whose work spoke directly to themes of life, death, gender, and class.
I havnt yet finsished this piece i am currently working on getting the face done and the flowers added, while doing the face i did struggle to keep the clay at the same thickness all around so it wouldnt crack in any areas as im smothing it out, i attempted making the flowers to see how im going to do it when its time and this was fun to try and create flowers out of clay i used a mix of dry clay and slip to help me get the texture i needed to create the flowers.
